Artist Bio

Dustine resides in Central Alberta Canada, and works  with acrylic mediums.

She is an artists who intuitively focused, developing and evolving in her expression with new ideas and techniques. Her style has a representational flare which gives her diversity in the freedom and joy of creating.

Her artwork has been on exhibit in local art shows, tourist venues, businesses, artworks and in conferences.  She has instructed paint nights, illustrated a children’s book and has accomplished commission pieces.

She is currently working on a body of work relating to her Metis heritage.

Artist Statement

My creative journey began with a simple desire to draw. This desire has developed into an on going passionate adventure, utilizing acrylic mediums.

My inspiration comes from desires, dreams, visions and from the elements, shapes and colours around me.  The varied techniques which I utilize, allows me the freedom and challenge in the joy of creating.

As I engage the viewer, I hold great expectation,  that the art I create would transpire to an encounter with hope, joy, peace  and perhaps ignite a dream in their hearts.
