Indigenous

I wasn’t brought up in the Indigenous Metis culture, but always have been
drawn to it. My grandfather took my mother out of that culture when she
was a very young child. Growing up I knew that there was apart of me that
had a Cree heritage, but knew very little. As I grew older so did my curiosity.
As I explore my ancestral heritage, it transfers into the art and subjects I am drawn to.
